So I may be speaking as an onlooker to all of this as I am not a US citizen and I recognise I'm speaking from a point of privilege to be able to move abroad but after reading about all the insane things that you guys in US get put through, how the leaders of your country just clearly do not care about your wellbeing or existence at all, why would you want to stay in a country like that?
If you have a degree, or marketable skills, or you have the ability to work towards either of those things. Even if you think you are an old dog that cant learn new tricks, trust me you can retrain into a different career. Start researching, there are dozens of countries you could move to with better leadership and better care for their citizens than the US.
Stop working so hard to make your bosses more money and start working towards getting out of that hellhole. Get a passport, get researching countries you could move to and the requirements for skills or education needed for those countries.
edit: Okay yes money obviously but there are countries that you could move to with a minimal amount of savings. I did it on 6 months of savings from my first job out of uni while not really trying to save.
