My college keeps telling me stuff like, “You need to talk more confidently, make buddies, be more outgoing if you wanna be an [insert_some_engineering_job]”. Of course I see why it might be like this in a way but I don't think everyone's the same and some people (including me) don't like talking too much and are straight to the point. I've been told that introverts/asocial people have really low chances of getting recruited. Why is this?
