say 25-30. Consistently get almost 35 which I did not want. I change it to 25. I get 25 hours. Finally they listen. Then it's right back up to 30 and they ignored my availability on two days. Then they ignored my time off request on a weekend. I guess no one wants to work weekends. Welp tough cookies. Either they fix it or don't expect me to be there. It's not a hey I don't want this day, time off requests are kinda ya know a hey I'm not coming in today figure it out on your end. I've seen before oh they can schedule 5 hours over or under your max hours. Um. No. They cannot. That's why I put MAX on there meaning to not go over. You wonder why people are freaking leaving. Goddang. And freakin holiday time. They keep scheduling me more because “we work more during holidays like back to school”. Schedule more people not me. If I say these many hours I mean it. I have a life and other responsibilities outside of this job. If I wanted 40 I would've put 40 on my application. They keep being stingy on hiring people then complaining they don't have people. It's retail, it's not like you need the top of the top. You're going to get a lot of students so quit being picky. Holiday hours are actually BS. Hire holiday workers to work that. Don't schedule people for more than their desired hours unless they approve it.
