Why do cops still get to keep their job after beating up civilians all the time?

This country is making me angry. Let me get this straight if a cop can beat down a black person or Hispanic person for no reason and still can keep their pension and benefits then what does that really say about America?? Meanwhile your government still won’t do anything about student loans and also why there’s no maternity leave or healthcare for everyone.
