I work at a small engineering firm and learned today that I have Covid. Turns out, I got it from work. The people who were sick didn’t realize it was Covid and didn’t want their PTO eaten away from sickness. We don’t get much PTO either, we only get 2 weeks. Also, nobody told us someone (I don’t care who) had Covid in the office.
So thanks to the irresponsibility of the managers and lack of sick days or more PTO, now maybe half the team is sick.
I don’t understand the logic of this place and the lack of safety.
