Why do people still view video games as lazy or unproductive?

Why is it that people still call others lazy or unproductive for liking to play video games in the year 2022? I honestly don't get it. But sometimes when I mention that I play video games as a hobby either online or sometimes in real life people will tell me how that is a waste of time or that I need to be productive. They will sometimes say things like “You spend that many X hours playing video games after work. Why don't you get a second job?” In my mind I am like “Bitch, I don't even want to work my current job, let alone two of them. The same thing also happens with relationship advice, for example I am currently single. But when I ask questions on how to start dating or meeting women and I mention that I play video games. I frequently get some commenters on my other account telling me that I need to drop gaming or do some other form of productive activity. I think that this advice is BS and I personally believe that you can still be successful in life and still have a good healthy relationship and be a gamer at the same time. There are plenty of people who like to game and do just that. If the person is otherwise has a good social life, work life balance, and has enough time to want to play video games than why should it matter what he does in his free time?
