My boss is salaried. I am also salaried as I get paid for 40 hrs and don't swipe a time clock. My boss is well known for being out a lot. Most of the time he doesn't even text us to say he's gonna be out. He's been out for 10 working days no, so 2 weeks. Prior to that he was out 7 of the 10 working days before. I was 30 minutes late this morning and no one even knows cause there's been no management for the last 3 days at work, but my boss has been out for so long.
My immediate supervisor to him doesn't care. He's out a lot too. No one seems to care the boss is out all the time. Nothing is bring done about this.
I've been at my job for 8 months now and I really do like my job, but I'm getting frustrated with management.
I've recently found out a job closer to me has a position open and thinking about applying. Just not sure what they pay. Just getting tired of going in and not having management there.
My biggest issue is because of how the community within my job title is (being withheld so I can't easily be identified here), I'd have to inform my boss of thr applying elsewhere because they will call.
