Why is it more reasonable for me to train the new employee and not management?

I’m in my first year in a new industry, previously coming from baking, and this is one of the only jobs I’ve had where they expect me to fully train a new employee without any add compensation. I used to get paid 1.5 an hour AT LEAST when I used to train new cake decorators, because training someone is a lot of damn work. Not to mention my tips suffer because this person is new, and honestly it would be easier for me to just help the customer myself. The only reason I’m holding onto this job is because I need money to move, I’m itching to tell management to get bent and do it themselves. Any advice how to approach this situation is greatly appreciated.
