I quit a very toxic workplace after working for 6 years! I was very good at my job but my boss was extremely disrespectful to me and I finally found a way to manage my finances recently and therefore quit.
Cut to six months later, I keep hearing from my ex coworkers that his wife keeps cribbing that I never visited after leaving. And yesterday my boss gets hold my boyfriends number, who he met twice in an office party, says he finds him very interesting and their family wants to host him for a dinner. There was absolutely no mention of me or invitation extended towards me.
Iam absolutely confused and worried about the motive behind all this. It is very embarrassing that someone would do this
