Why is starting a new job depressing

I left a job in April after I had been there for nine months. I really gave it a chance but it was awful. I found it so hard to find a new job while working a full time job. My husband and I decided I should quit and put all my energy into finding a new job. I found something in a month. That new job was absolutely AWFUL, and I left at my three month mark. I just got a new job today and my start date coincides with the day I quit. So, on average, it takes me a month to find something else. And I had three other interviews. One I didn't get the job, the other two I turned down over low wage or hours. This new job is slightly crappier hours wise but it is in town. The SHIT job I had before was…

This new job is slightly crappier hours wise but it is in town. The SHIT job I had before was SUPER close, was 830 to 430 and had an hour lunch. So really just seven hours of work.

The one before was the same.

This one is 8-5 (fuck I hate that) with a 30 min lunch. Obviously I took it as I need a job, but I was already struggling with eight hours and now I'm nine hours a day. I just hope the better environment makes up for it.

I know some people have hella long commutes and that I'm lucky, but 45 hours a week sounds daunting. There's also always the fear that it could be a toxic workplace, it might not work out etc.

I'm in administration and I'd really love to find a WFH job.
