So I removed my blinders about a year ago once my job demoted me despite all of my hard work and working extra hours and I came to the realization that they just do not care about me. I began applying at other jobs and was considering going on an interview but then I thought to myself why should I be the one to quit? Most of the jobs I qualified for or got an interview for pay significantly less than I making now. I have hundreds of hours of personal leaves saved up that I can use quite freely and I have seniority which is nice. Has anyone ever decided to stay at a job that has screwed them over but just done less work and not cared and taking their personal time off as a final fuck you to the company? I feel like that’s their way of screwing me over even more is me losing out on all of that time and having to start over fresh with no leave saved up somewhere else and making less money because I really do earn a pretty good amount for the market I live in at my current job.
