I'm hunting for a marketing internship, and the sheer amount of accounts I'm forced to make to apply is insane. Personally, I will just skip the application if I have to make an account. I have no desire to fill up my inbox with spam emails from whatever third party site you sell my information too, and it's a hassle enough that I don't care what the pay is. I'm not applying and I wish companies would stop doing this.
Maybe it's not the biggest deal, but I've started to consider it a red flag. That, and the fact that even after submitting my resume, I still have to input all the information on it! Just read the damn resume!!
