In Ca, USA, I don't know how people can live off with $15-20 minimum hourly wage without tipping if that's the amount u think restaurant employers will pay their staff.
Adding tips would usually get them more than 300-500 or more per day at mid to high end restaurants. I was once told by a female colleague that she makes over 300-500 from tips as a bartender.
Like why do people still even work in grocery stores or retailers that only paid less than 200-300 per day while u get a lot more in the food serving industries?
