Wife is being forced to quit her severely understaffed job because they won’t abide by their promise of letting employees go from hybrid to full remote.

My wife’s job is remote 3 days/office 2 days a week. When she first started they said she could go full remote after 6 months if she hit their metrics. Well it’s been 6 months, she’s hit all the metrics, they have a team member out on maternity leave, one just quit, and another was demoted. They are ridiculously understaffed. Her direct and regional managers love her. They fought to get her full remote and corporate still said no. We are moving in two weeks so she has to quit a job she likes, is good at, and that desperately needs her because of ridiculous corporate bullshit.
