My wife was terminated from her job this morning. In the hiring interview it was agreed upon by employer and employee the schedule was 8-4:30 M-F. Yesterday, her and her coworkers were informed they are mandated to work overtime/ weekends (workers stay and work while employer goes on vacation) . My wife reminded them she could not work weekends. My wife and I moved to a new state together and we are constantly getting our home together on our free time. Which is why she can’t work overtime and weekends. She was informed this morning she was being fired. We are located in NC. Is there anything she can do? Thank you in advance.
