Wife’s company offers “incentives”.

My wife works for a large chain store in a service industry. The owners of about 10 of the stores wanted to get more Google reviews for their stores and offered a contest between the stores to see who could get the most reviews. They sent a memo asking what everyone wanted as a prize for the winning store. The workers of my wife's store collectively submitted a request to have Christmas Eve off (unpaid) as the prize. During that time frame, my wife's store was in first place with hundreds of reviews because they were excited about the prospect of having Christmas Eve off. (Pretty disappointed that they insist on working Christmas Eve at all.) The owners responded with a company email that the prize would be dinner with the owners. They haven't collected a review since.
