It seems like every passing day brings about more bullshit. It’s been over a decade since the US government has raised minimum wage. Millions of people still believe the propaganda fed to them by corporations, MSM, and both parties. It seems like no matter how bad things get people are just too…apathetic to incite some actual change. I just wish we could all wake up and take on the powers that be, as it were. I just wish that one day every regular/working person would stand up to their boss, their company, the politicians telling them they don’t deserve food or shelter or fucking life! It just fills me with such rage that we have the numbers to actually change this shit but we’re too disorganized and too polarized as a society to actually make everyone’s lives better! Why do people have to look down on those they perceive as less than them? Why do people making $90,000 a year think they’re better than someone making $25,000?? This facade that we call the American dream has made everyone think that being a billionaire is not only obtainable, but that it brings about some kind of moral superiority. I just hope that some day, people will realize they’re not better than anyone else and we all deserve the means to just fucking live.
i’m sorry for the huge rant, i just needed to vent or i was going to explode. i hope everyone’s doing okay, we will one day take the power back.
