Two days ago, I got an e-mail asking for a phone interview for a Winner's (canada) job at 9:19am. The slotted interview time was between 9:30am and 11am. I didn't even see the e-mail until after 11am. Luckily the e-mail said if I couldn't make their time slot, I could just phone and rebook it at a later time. So I called and set an appointment for two days later.
Twenty minutes ago I called in, just to have a super condescending woman slowly explain to me that she waited the entire 9:30am to 11am for me to call and that the job would go to someone else. The e-mail was FROM this lady, so she knew she only gave me 10 minutes, and kept bringing it up like I was the idiot?
I don't usually work retail jobs, but I wanted a part time job while studying. Anyone else know how common this is for retail stores?
