Comparing Work to Slavery is a naive and disgusting white-privilege hyperbole and needs to stop.

I understand there are shitty employers. I also understand that real world Slave labor exists. Your minimum wage job is predatory and wrong, but that doesn't mean you are a slave. Don't cheapen history and current world problems just to vent your frustrations at dystopian economics and employment. EDIT: Some have brought up a valid point that 'Wage Slavery' is a legitimate economic term. I recant my protest, with the caveat that I detest the term and feel that it oversimplifies and emotionally charges the conversation in a way that is counter-productive to our goals. This is not a factual statement, but an opinion.
