I work at Lowes. I love what I’m doing (sales/customer service)…but I’ve had enough of being hassled and hagged. I know a job is a job, but I’d rather have my own schedule and not be bossed around (I’d still follow the rules). This 1:30PM-11PM is tiring. I’ve been managing to push it through. People can’t keep their damn mouth shut at work. I got yelled at by my ASM because someone kept complaining about me taking long breaks. The ASM made me bring carts in all by myself as a form of punishment. When he brings in carts, he only brings in 5 and that’s it, while I bring in 40 at the most. We are short staffed and are hiring, but their are barely any job postings (which doesn’t make sense at all). It is extremely difficult for advancement. I kind of think it’s stupid to only schedule 5 or 6 people to close a store that big, especially during rush weekend. Aka rush weekend are the busiest days of the week.
