Wondering if this is a violation of HIPPA? response ASAP please

I have been out of work the last week. I’ve been going to urgent care (who blew me off, wasn’t giving me proper treatment for illness, and prolonged my suffering.) Went to the ER and they did an ultrasound and some tests and found the real issue. I still feel really unwell. I go back in today. Before this I had COVID (from my job not following regulations) and I think between the infection I have now and COVID my body is going thru it. I have a weak immune system. I told my work, the first day I called out I was running a temp. I woke up drenched in sweat and hot to the touch. I didn’t take a temp., all I needed to know was I was in pain, something was wrong, and I was way too hot. 2 of my mangers are stating I have to…

2 of my mangers are stating I have to bring in proof of my temp. If I do that, they would have to get the papers from docs with all my private med. info, including medications I’m on for things not related to my current situation.

I’m in healthcare, tell me I’m not crazy for thinking this is a violation of HIPPA? Legally speaking, this can’t be right? Ain’t no way in hell Im letting my bosses see my private info. I don’t trust them one bit.
