work 4 home Depot, filed complaint for violating rights

So I work for home Depot in New york and they decided that they wanted to violate the law by testing for marijuana in the drug test. This is illegal. Just normally. And I also have a medical marijuana card and multiple issues that cause chronic inflammation and trouble reaching above my shoulders. They never drug tested me then I asked if I can use an electric ladder like everyone else and they said I need to pass a drug test. I told them fine but I take medical marijuana off work time and they were not legally allowed to test for historical use of medical marijuana. They had multiple meetings with me where they tried to convince me to lie on paperwork and just say I wasn't using it and stop using it for a month to pass a drug test and that if anything ever got damaged while…

They had multiple meetings with me where they tried to convince me to lie on paperwork and just say I wasn't using it and stop using it for a month to pass a drug test and that if anything ever got damaged while I was using it I would be drug tested and immediately fired for the medication prescribed by a doctor legally.

They found out I filed a complaint and sent paperwork into the main office and asked my doctor to fill out paperwork. He said he couldn't. They won't let me use an electric ladder to reach things above my head. With a physical disorder that prevents me from reaching above my head without being in pain.

They filed a response to my complaint and straight up lied about everything that happened. Said home Depot does not have a policy of testing for THC or marijuana. I have been to multiple meetings where he literally told me I had to stop using Marijuana to use an electric ladder. And it is literally a must for doing my job because home Depot doesn't have a “in the back” it's stored vertically.

They claimed it's not necessary for “essential job junctions” and said “the met team” was supposed to use machines in supposed to ask them to. I asked everyone in the store. No one in the met team has a license to use it in the day time. Their job is actually to replace tags. Both my department co-workers have a license to use the electric ladder. Not me.

They have no idea I have recordings of every meeting we I went to and the assistant manager saying that the met team does not do that and that the sales associates are supposed to. I have the store manager explaining that I need to “take a t break” along with literally everything else because I recorded everything time I was near a person with literally an form of power or any time anyone explained anything about the job that could come to question. I hope they get fined for lieing but the investigator didn't seem to concerned.

Why are they allowed to test for drugs used outside work? Seriously fuck them it's an electric ladder. It's so slow and shitty Its crazy it's considered a hazard in the first place.

Department of labor won't download them from Google drive or my server I set up for this and is making me mail it to them on a flash drive.
