English isn't my first language so excuse any spelling errors
So i'm a european truck driver and Just got had this conversation with my dispatch. Little context here at least in the netherlands when a truck driver starts before 5 am the have a max of 10 working hours. So today i had to star at 4:45 aparantly i checken in at 4:55. Now my trip has been plannen out as a disaster so hours wist i'm never making it. Now i call dispatch to notify and tell them i'm kinda over it a this point as it has happend before. And they went “well you could also wait till 5 am then we wouldn't have this problem.” So effectivly to get around a law i need to be late on work and possibly be repremanded for that for the convienince of the companny?
