Work changed my hours; I found another job.

Exactly what it says on the tin. For about the last 4-5 months, my work place got very cliquey and very high school. My one coworker threatened to quit unless they were moved to a different shift, and as I was the “common denominator” I was now working 3:30-midnight. Well, that tanked my work-life balance and was not okay with my fiancé and I. And definitely not okay when I initially took that job so I could work days. So, I came home from that awful meeting and started putting in applications. Two weeks later I put in my notice. What still bothers me the most is that my boss couldn’t let my coworker quit because “hiring is difficult right now” and yet didn’t make a counter offer in an effort to keep me. I start my new job on Monday.
