So I'm a new hire and have been working at this company for 2 months now. Previously I was assigned a normal office cubicle, and everything was fine until this week. I'm now assigned to a temporary Costco desk for my work, and because the desk is quite low it's hurting my neck. I use the computer a lot because writing is what I do, and the monitors shake whenever I type because the table legs are so weak. Moreover, I have to position my head down a little bit in order to see the screen properly. As a result, my neck is getting stiff and hurts quite alot, and I'm starting to get headaches too cause of all the shaking caused by the table.
I already asked HR if they can address this issue, but they haven't done anything for the past 2 days. Is it unreasonable to ask if I can work remotely until they can fix this issue? This situation is temporary as me and my coworkers will be moving to a new office space in a month or so. The thing though, is I'm the only one with this desk. My boss is telling me to hang in there until we relocate, but…idk. I like the job but the management is killing me. Sorry if this isnt the subreddit for it
