Work doesn’t matter as long as you talk the loudest

Work has been a rollercoaster. There has been plenty of ups and downs, but I feel that there seems to be a downward trend in terms of workplace sustainability. Reasons are the lack of human resources (e.g., incompetency, poor work ethics in upper management, absence of a necessary staff), lack of clear instructions when facing a difficult situation, lack of structure in the team, strong political workplace culture (ignorance of incompetent employees due to nepotism) and many more. They try to be all friendly on the surface, but also blatantly ignore the actual problems at work. I always thought that the efficiency in completing your work would be the most important factor, but I was wrong. The most important factor seems to be whoever vocalizes the most (regardless of him/her doing very little work. Being good at your job doesn’t matter. As long as you talk the loudest, you win.…
