Work from home scam

So I’ve recently accepted and started a new job at a small but multinational company. On the job listing they proudly listed one of their perks as a hybrid work system. Even during the multiple interviews they established that everyone was working 3 days in the office/ 2 days at home. However when I started work they told me that the expectation is that I work from the office full time (5 days a week) at least for the first few months – and then the hybrid work system will be evaluated if my performance is good enough. I’ve been working remote the last 2.5 years and one week in the office FULL time has already DRAINED ME. I already feel burnt out :/ I know not everyone has the luxury of working from home but in this scenario, What should I do? Is it reasonable for them to ask…

I know not everyone has the luxury of working from home but in this scenario, What should I do? Is it reasonable for them to ask me to work in the office full time for the first few months? How do I immediately adapt back into full time office work when I’ve been working from home the last 2.5 years?
