Meanwhile my supervisor gets to walk a dog around the office and laugh around with other supervisors.
I also asked for 30 hours instead of 40 to take care of a family member. they told me they CAN'T lower my quota and that it would be impossible. I offered to work from home part of the day, they told me they CAN'T have me working from home because it wouldn't be fair to everyone else. They wanna work something out but I have no idea what would work.
These guys have also made me work in the office with a covid cough after I was working from home no issues hitting quota. That week, I had to go out to my car on break and cough for an hour nearly vomiting. I was waking up those mornings dryheaving. No reason for me to even be there.
Another thing, there's a 5 min grace period for being late, but we were just told today that it's a problem if we come in during that grace period. So are we late or not? Why does it have to be a problem?
They add up minutes added/lost from clocking in/out slightly early/late and tell us EXACTLY how long to take breaks or when to clock out. I currently have to take 6 extra minutes on this break that I'm on, but I have to clock out 4 mins late today. What?
We also barely get holidays, and had to work Xmas Eve (Xmas on Sat), New Years Eve (New Years on Sat), sometimes we leave early if work is slow.
All departments hit their goals 3 times in a row, which is a huge deal! Last time, all departments hit goals for one day and we got awful sandwiches. This time, we get McDonalds for three in a row… very fun.
