I’ve worked for my company going on 11 years . 5 months ago I injured my back on the job and have been on workman’s comp . During that 5 months I went to school and got my CDL license. I’ve applied for my first trucking job and if everything goes right I should be starting next week. I want to know can I still collect workman’s comp while I’m working at the other job just long enough to see if I can do the job without re injuring my back?
And how do I go about asking HR for some kind of separation package?
