Work is making us park in the streets for the holidays

This has to be wrong right? I'm in California and work just told us for the rest of the year we have to park in the streets and leave the parking lot for customers only. This really pisses me the fuck off like seriously who cares if the customers can't park they got legs I work here I have the right to fucking park before you do
