I work at a warehouse and my shift is the only shift that has constant pizza and food all the time. I’m grateful that they do this and I don’t mind it once in a while but it’s every other day. I enjoy going on break because being around others is draining to me. I’m the only person of my ethnicity that speaks English as my first language, which is fine but it’s hard to join the convo when others speak the same language. I feel like an asshole for making an excuse to leave and get out of it but it’s EVERY. OTHER. DAY. Some type of holiday, someone got a license, someone’s birthday, just because. Am I the only person who feels like this or am I a jerk lol.
