Went on a work trip with a coworker last year in FL and I’m from WI. Was told I could be fired for splitting tickets with coworker. We also split Uber but in terms of cash for whisky. Another apparent reason for termination. This event occurred after hours and did not effect our work. Can anyone explain why I could be terminated or can’t be? Preferably from a legal perspective?
