Goya Foods located at Houston, TX Decided to pay Holidays. However it is not included in in the regular week hours.
If you work a 50 hours in a week and there’s a holiday in that week you will be paid 40 hours regular, 8 hours holiday and 2 hours overtime.
I was under the impression that the holiday was part of the 40 hours a week. Seemed as if I was going to receive 40 hours regular(including the holiday) and 10 overtime.
