At least I hope so. I walk for exercise at my local Walmart Super Center and have observed several of them obviously hiding out chatting & using their cell phones when I went to the Women's room.
Now, maybe they were just “goofing off” where their male boss couldn't see them but I totally support their resistance to such a $hitty job.
I am already doing self-check all the time anyway so them slacking off usually makes no difference to my experience in the store. The big retailers have diligently instructed us customers to expect zero service so it's fine with me if all the workers are hiding in the bathroom.
