So my supervisor gave me a .40 cent raise (big whoop) and told me “don’t tell or speak about it with your co workers bc that’s not cool”. I’m here in Florida where I’m aware most laws and regulations look funky. While I know most on here aren’t lawyers, maybe someone has an answer as to whether this is legal or not? The whole thing just felt fishy and my coworkers and I are all talking about it more than if she had just said “here’s your raise”. Thoughts?
