I have lived in the US for 10 years. I now live in Asia (where I am from) and while no place is perfect, it is disturbing to me how the Americans are getting screwed over by your politicians.
First, it is disturbing to me that the youth (that includes the now aging millennials) think that they shouldn't bother with politics. All of these rights that are slowly taken away from you, they are not done by corporations only. They got taken away by corporations via the politicians that get sold out. Politicians that the working class voted into office. Working class voted poorly and allowed last president who passed a law giving the rich tax breaks. Working class allowed the current president to give a union busting company billions of tax payer money.
The working class needs to focus on unionizing for rights and also focus on the politics, starting with local politics. The top level of politics won't change till the local politicians don't improve.
