Yesterday I worked my casual rates security shift from 5-9pm for a council meeting, I ended up working till 12am , not able to leave as I was needed on post, would it be unreasonable for ask for double time for those few hours? I work in the security industry in South Australia. And couldn’t find anything on the topic. But it was never disclosed or discussed about having to stay back.
