Working to rule does work

Worked for Royal mail, years ago. One of the mangers was a bully, bone idle and full of lies. Day came along, when the workers had enough of it. Every single forklift driver agreed to fake a headache and say they didn't feel well enough to work on the trucks The mail was stacked in cages four cages high and could not be handballed down even if you wanted to. All the drivers stuck together and claimed they were fit to work as mail sorters but did not fill well enough to drive the forklifts. She could not prove they didn't have headaches, or blurred vision and it would be a health and safety violation to try and make them drive. She had to call the big big boss out to come in and sort it all out , on a night shit no less. She was soon gone not…

One of the mangers was a bully, bone idle and full of lies.

Day came along, when the workers had enough of it.

Every single forklift driver agreed to fake a headache and say they didn't feel well enough to work on the trucks

The mail was stacked in cages four cages high and could not be handballed down even if you wanted to.

She was soon gone not long after.

Workers do have the power to win, we just have to stick together.
