Just wanted to rant about how frustrating it can be working with a disability. I have MS and no I don’t have the worst of it I admit. Just some really bad fatigue, vision issues, feeling rubbery etc.
I just left a toxic work environment for a new job and today I got in “trouble” for sitting down while working. It makes zero difference if I was standing up or sitting down other than giving my back/neck a break. Just made me think what if I was having mobility issues today? I LOOK fine. You don’t know how I’m feeling.
I’m already doing more than most people I know with MS. I’m lifting heavy shit. I’m a full time single parent. Going through a divorce. I broke every bone in my foot in a car accident and it hurts all day. Now I have to deal with dickhead co workers and bosses. Fuck you id like to slam you on your head in the parking lot.
No it’s not a big deal but it triggered me especially since my last boss was an absolute tyrant where every little move or thing you say more than likely would be a problem LOL trust me it’s been worse like Horrible Bosses shit. Just kinda tired of being a good person and working for these assholes.
