Working with a knee injury.

I injured my knee 3 days ago. I can barely walk and I had to miss 3 days of work in a row. My company doesn’t have sick pay, so that is just money lost. Honestly, as an American, I was lucky my boss was understanding enough to not fire me. I enrolled for health insurance, but I’m not covered until next year. I couldn’t afford to seek treatment or miss anymore work, so here I am. Limping around a busy kitchen for 10 hours on a sprained (or possibly worse, no idea) knee. I’m really hoping this doesn’t mess me up for life. I’m only 25. Either my youth will help me heal, or I didn’t get much youth out of life at all. Might just go to the doctor anyway and refuse to pay. Hopefully that doesn’t catch up to me either. God bless America.
