Before joining Uni for my masters I was working at this BPO for a year and a half. Since it was the pandemic they offered us work from home and I was working from home for a year. I contracted covid and had to take a long leave of 3 months. Post this I decided to pursue my masters and wanted to quit work. They said they can give me part time work which is given only for women after maternity leave. Part time options aren’t widely available in my country.
They promised me saying it’ll be work from home and all fake promises about my log in hours and break hours. They also gave me false information about my incentives.
Basically everything was a lie. Fast forward 5 months I’m still working from office and spending 40% of my salary on travel because of this.
What do I do?
