I work as a cook at nondescript chicken wing themed sports bar chain and have an allergy to latex and vinyl so my GM ordered me a case of nitrile gloves a few months ago. they were reserved for use by only me and the kitchen manager (who had the same allergy) and so they lasted several months. as we began to run low, my kitchen manager reminded my GM multiple times to order more nitrile gloves and he never did. i ended up using the last of them during my last shift and came to work today to no nitrile gloves available to me. my GM did not seem to care.
I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do, I'd very much like to not have an allergic reaction to the vinyl gloves the other cooks wear but i also can't just not wear gloves while preparing food.
