I got a job offer as a Field Marketing Manager for a company I’ve never heard of called DaBella, I took the offer since it was on the spot from my soon-to-be branch manager/direct supervisor.
DaBella send their managers to training for two weeks, my second week was at their headquarters in Portland where I spent a week there and was antagonized by my fellow management as some weird hazing process. It would be about 7 of us in a van going to a location, they’d try to weirdly antagonize me the entire car ride, and I’d have to listen to them go on rants about how Bill Gates is funding the Covid-19 vaccine as a depopulation experiment, as apart of “joining the team”. The executives and upper management push weird books about Fauci being a liar or how military battles relate to justifying layoffs.
My first day out of training my boss showed up drunk, he fell out of his chair as he was interviewing a potential new-hire. I had to call 911 to get 6-7 firefighters to get him out of here. (He used to play for the NFL). This happened at 7am on a Monday.
The marketing department is full of conspiracy theorists and drunks, this company is a joke. So hard to take seriously. It used to be Penguin windows, they abandoned the name because of its poor reputation.
