So little context, I have to work at least 40+ hours to survive, like most people. My work, is overall pretty good to its employees and pays ok $20ish/hour. I’m currently working your average 9-5 Mon-Fri and was just offered today to do the “weekend” shift of We’d, Sat, Sun 7-7. I’d work 36 hours get paid for 40. Would anyone actually like this type of schedule? I don’t do anything on weekends that I couldn’t do during the week. But I have that mental barrier of “it’s the weekend” I want peoples opinions on if this is better overall and just a mental barrier or if it’s actually worse. Pay stays the same. What are your thoughts?
