Personally I would, however I would work very very little and do what I'd actually enjoy: working with animals (zoo or shelter or both, or maybe even study to become a vet)
Instead I've chosen to work in IT because it pays really good. I'm currently an app admin at a medium sized company
Side-note: I am under the impression the vast majority wouldn't work if they didn't absolutely have to, which I totally understand, since ultimately, you live to live, not to work and make someone 10x richer for 1/10th of the price.
