Written up for salary discussions

So I work in a small company in California with about 10 employees so one of the owners is “HR” when convenient. I got written up the other day for bypassing my manager and going to HR because apparently that’s now how it works and HR doesn’t have time to deal with this stuff. Also, we all got raises at the same time but the workload isn’t the same. I complained about that and got written up for discussing salaries, I told my boss in the meeting it’s illegal to talk about salary and he said “we’re a private company we can do what we want.” So I said put that in wiring for me and he did. Oh I can’t with these people and they complain why no one wants to work for them. I’m quitting after this weekend and telling them have fun with the complaint I’m about…
