So a couple months ago I went in for an interview with Randy’s donuts for a head baker position. I was honestly settling but needed a job and applied anyways. Long story short after 3 and half weeks of bullshit with them they ghosted me. Literally went in for an interview which they made me drive 40 miles out of my way for, only to get demeaned by the wife of the person interviewing me. Literally she says to me your to young to have the kitchen experience you claim to have and there is no way I’m not gunna let my husband give you what you want hourly and proceeded to undercut me by 2$/hr. They offered the position at interview and they said they will call me to start training. Few days went by so I called they said don’t worry we will get you in next week. Next week roles around and no call, so I call again and this time no answer so I leave a message. Another week goes by and still nothing, So I decided it’s a waste of time and looked for other work since I was settling anyways. But goddamn at-least have some decency and say no instead of having me on the hook and ghosting me…wtf Randy’s?
Anyone else have similar experience with Randy’s?
