Y’all need to be less gullible, its killing this sub

I know it's exciting to see a story about a messed up boss or a screenshot of unreasonable text, and one's gut reaction is to comment and support the OP. But people getting duped by these fake af stories and screenshots is now seriously damaging the sub and its message. There's already an image problem after the mod interview, but now its like every day there's a new poorly photoshopped screenshot or a story that sounds like a comedy sketch. This one, a ridiculously cartoonish fake story, was the real kicker: LINK The number of upvotes and earnest pieces of advice makes the sub look like its filled with idiots who believe anything that “furthers the cause”. If a text screenshot looks off, dont let it stay on the sub. If a story seems wildly unbelievable, it probably is. Dont let bait and karma farming ruin the sub even more…

Dont let bait and karma farming ruin the sub even more than it already has. Take a second to think about the post, and dont get blinded by your own antiwork bias.
