You can make as much as you want, as long as you give up your personal life.

Where I work, if we meet expectations and make a profit, we get a raise between 0% and 3% of our current salary. At my salary 3% isn't even $1/hr. Given that I am the only one who does my job, and we can't seem to hire anyone willing to travel or work here, there is no hope for getting any assistance. Recognizing this, my boss and another higher up submitted a request to get me a bigger raise. HR responded by saying that I'm already compensated for what I do because I get paid for overtime. So I can basically make as much as I want as long as I give up any shred of a personal life that I have left. This is apparently how they show their appreciate for busting my ass to keep production moving. I have a skill set that is in high demand so…
