How millionaires and billionaires are scared that if people have a right to flexible working conditions, they may become more motivated and find jobs they actually enjoy, that allow work life balance or that benefit the employee.
Sorry it's behind a paywall I can't get around on my phone.
Mainly James Dyson (of the overpriced Dyson products, who is a sir and is worth USD$7.8 billion) doesn't think it's right to let employees dictate their own flexibility and is threatening to move offices out of UK if the new law goes ahead. There's no comment on his working arrangements bit I'm pretty sure he doesn't go to office working 9-5 everyday.
At the bottom of the article it starts another article about how commercial landlords are struggling and want people back in the office so that they can make money again. No concern of worker's mental states, wellbeing or livelihoods. Just greed.
TLDR: Fuck the workers cause poor billionaires and landlords are losing money.
Honestly time for a revolution. Just cause you're rich didn't mean your voice is now important than the many. Kill the masters. Free the slaves.
